Our JobChat

As a modern company, we avoid boring job ads and would like to inspire you for us with a new format. Thank you for being interested in CROZ DACH and enjoy reading the following JobChat!

Recently, in our team meeting:
Joachim: “We're noticing more and more in our client meetings: just mastering the technology isn't enough. We need someone who can strategically guide our clients through their cloud transformation.”
Linda: “I've sharpened the profile based on that. We are looking for an OpenShift Consultant (f/m/d).”
Markus: “It’s important to note that this isn't about just processing tickets. We need someone who keeps the big picture in mind: from the initial idea to a finished platform strategy.”
Peter: "Exactly. You need to know how production-ready Kubernetes environments, whether OpenShift, EKS, or Azure, work technically, but the focus is on consulting the client on which architecture makes sense for their business.“
Berni: ”That is exactly our BizTech approach. We don't want to sell technology for its own sake. A consultant here must understand how governance, compliance, and security act as business enablers in regulated environments.“
Markus: ”This also includes a strong role in Pre-Sales. You develop technical concepts, give demos, and convince prospective clients with Proof of Concepts that are solid and well-thought-out."
Peter: “Essentially, you are the bridge between the client's requirements and our engineering teams. You need to be able to structure complexity, even when the situation is often ambiguous at the start.”
Bernie: "We still provide technical support, of course, but it's more at the level of architecture reviews, standards, and GitOps structures. So, you should know how to build a pipeline, but more importantly, you must be able to explain why it should be built that way."
Joachim: “Of course, this requires experience, especially in working with enterprise platforms such as OpenShift. But ultimately, systemic thinking matters more to us than any certificate. And since we have many projects in the public sector and in highly sensitive sectors, EU citizenship is an absolute requirement for employment.”
Linda: ”And what about the framework? Since the role involves significant consulting and responsibility, the salary here is between 70–100k Euro, depending on seniority. This is topped off by our benefits like the company pension plan (bAV), childcare allowance and flexible working models.“
Annabelle: ”Since we work closely with our colleagues in Zagreb, fluent German and English skills at C1-level are a must. If you can also speak a few bits of Croatian, that’s certainly a bonus.“
Peter: ”The process is relaxed as usual: a conversation with Joachim and me, followed by meeting the team, including a case study. It’s not a test, but about collaborative problem-solving on equal footing. If everything fits, the next step is meeting our colleagues in Zagreb to get a feel for the CROZ spirit."
Joachim: “We are looking for someone who wants to actively help shape CROZ DACH and make a difference as a consultant for our clients.”
Linda: “I'm excited to see who wants to join us in bridging the gap between business and technology!
